Farbfunktion - materialization

Wirksamkeit - good under all lighting conditions

Venetian red originally referred to a pure, slightly bluish, rather opaque natural pigment. Most sources have been depleted, and true Venetian red has become rare. Fortunately, the Dolci brothers from Verona still supply the pigment, with which it is possible to formulate light reds that are not gaudy, but pleasing. Lightening the red hematite crystals in the pigment with white chalk produces luminous, light reds that glow from within. This special depth effect distinguishes the showy pink from the natural one.

"Their colors are just unbelievably beautiful, whether the sun is shining, or it's rainy weather, or night, with every play of light they look different again. Incredible."
