Formulating light orange tints is a precarious undertaking! It often results in colors that look like apricot ice cream; walls look flat and milky, spaces lose depth. If KT 43.23 Spice red is combined with a warm, chalky white containing ochre, however, the result will be a charming, orange tint. A wall gains substance through its use, which is why colors made with natural earth pigments are constructive in their effects on space. Their natural origin also lends them a familiar and trustworthy appearance.
