KT 32.140 Dark native umber

Raw umber at its finest; modest and serene.

Referenz - Le Corbusier, Salubra wallpaper, 1931

Farbfunktion - differentiation

Wirksamkeit - good under all lighting conditions

This is the darkest nuance of an elegant gray-brown series of paint colors made with a precious, raw umber from Cyprus. Because there are few colors or materials that do not harmonize with this color, it is particularly useful to architecture. One use is to paint surfaces that ought to be hidden with Dark native umber; it successfully camouflages them. This velvety brown-gray with deep blue, yellow, red, and green reflexes has also established itself as a classic for dignified backgrounds.

"Their colors are just unbelievably beautiful, whether the sun is shining, or it's rainy weather, or night, with every play of light they look different again. Incredible."
