The physicist Ogden Rood noted in 1880 that green as such is not challenging in terms of color design, but that the physical mixtures in green paints are rarely pleasing. Rood attributed this to the subtle color effects shown by natural greens, which are never monochromatic, in contrast to most green paints. Green in nature is a pointillist composite of an infinite number of nuances. To achieve such an effect, Green tea is composed of a broad palette of differently colored particles. Its spatial effect is modern and natural.

"Their colors are just unbelievably beautiful, whether the sun is shining, or it's rainy weather, or night, with every play of light they look different again. Incredible."
