Referenz - Paul Baumann, Neue Farbtonkarte System Prase, Sample No. 180, 1928

Farbfunktion - atmospheric

Wirksamkeit - good under all lighting conditions

The slopes of the river Mosel are known for their abundant shale deposits. They store warmth, allowing for the cultivation of superb Riesling grapes. The same shale was once valued as a pigment. It is rather hard and brittle, which is why it was used as a supplementary pigment. Its generally warm coloration made it a common addition to softspoken gray paints. This blend of soft, creamy chalk with ground shale renews this tradition to produce this distinguished, natural white.

"Their colors are just unbelievably beautiful, whether the sun is shining, or it's rainy weather, or night, with every play of light they look different again. Incredible."
