Farbfunktion - dynamic

Wirksamkeit - good under all lighting conditions

Luis Barragán understood architecture to be a “sublime act of poetic imagination.” His buildings with their enchanting play of color and light testify to this. This powerful pink, which is attributed to Barragán by some experts, is made with quinacridone magenta, a pigment first manufactured industrially in 1958. In combination with pure chalk, the result is a wall paint that appears to emit rose-colored light. The ability to tint space by virtue of luminous pigments and directed lighting characterizes many of the architect’s colors.

"Their colors are just unbelievably beautiful, whether the sun is shining, or it's rainy weather, or night, with every play of light they look different again. Incredible."
