KT 32.110 Red ochre

The oldest red known to man; every culture used it.

Referenz - Le Corbusier, Salubra wallpaper, 1931

Farbfunktion - materialization

Wirksamkeit - good under all lighting conditions

This is the red of ancient architecture in every country and culture. The name red ochre, which originally referred only to red earth pigments, later came to be used for synthetic products of unknown origin and manufacturing methods. This made it increasingly difficult to use color names to differentiate between natural red ochres and synthetic substitutes. In keeping with the reference, this color is made with the more luminous natural pigment. It is used to firmly position a plane in space, allowing it to look solid and natural.

"Their colors are just unbelievably beautiful, whether the sun is shining, or it's rainy weather, or night, with every play of light they look different again. Incredible."
