The crowned pigeon looks distinguished with its regal gait, while in flight it is rather ponderous. Such opposing effects also characterize this paint color. The concentrated gray-blue-shade inferred on it by the pigment cobalt blue creates majestic wall surfaces that will never appear to be fleeting. Crowned pigeon blue forms a dialectic pair with the ultramarine-based paint color KT 32.021 Sky blue. If the latter appears to be too light and airy, on a supporting wall surface for instance, then this heavier blue will appear to hold the wall, allowing it to look trustworthy and stable.
